Could you live in a Yurt year round?

Do you mean is it physically possible? Sure. It would be more comfortable in some climates than others. Is it legal? Depends where you live. Is it a good idea? Depends. If you have to pay to heat it, then fabric walls are going to lose a lot of heat so it wouldn't be cheaper to heat than conventional construction the same size, and good luck getting insurance on it and the stuff in it. Better make sure there are no trees with branches that could fall through the fabric roof, and don't let too many people know you have a plasma TV since they could break in with a utility knife or a maybe a good strong kick. There are reasons why most people don't live in tents.
