Does Yahoo contradict itself?

I find Yahoo to be a bit of a contradiction. On Yahoo answers, every little thing is a violation, but on things such as yahoo music, etc., anything goes (violent lyrics, language, etc.). I totally think censorship is dumb, because let's face it, it can't be avoided, whatever is hidden will be eventually found. My main point is isnt it dumb that yahoo is super strict on yahoo answers, yet elsewhere, such as boards and chatrooms, everything goes? Why doesnt Yahoo just give up and allow a thing called free speech in here? Why should disliking something, disagreeing with someone, or just having a different opinion be a violation? Some people take it too far, but why let a few rotten apples ruin it for everyone else? What's your opinion on this???
