Are Most s Butch, Femme, or Something in between?

There are s who identify strongly with "butch" or "femme," but not all queer women do. Butches are masculine in the way they dress and their manner, and femmes are feminine and often glamorous. There is generally the implied attraction of femmes to butches in the butch/femme scene, so people whose attraction doesn't line up with this can feel somewhat alienated by the terms at times. There are also plenty of s who don't feel particularly masculine or feminine, and therefore don't identify as butch or femme. I'd guess that these "somewhere in between" folks are in the majority, but it's kind of impossible to say.
