Buying 3rd guitar, any recommendations?

i have a rubbish squire strat, an epiphone sg g400, but now, i want a guitar that is great all round, i like a nice rocky sound but i also like nice clean sounds too, so a mixture. my budget is �500. a whammy bar is also necessary as im into whammy phrasing now. if you have any other recommendations that would be great =)
