Dumb republicans who want to do the right thing at the wrong time.?

Why are the republicans willing to take a chance of putting 2.5 million jobs in jeopardy during a recession, just because they feel they need to teach GM CEO's a lesson. Its not about them, if GM go's down there still going to be rich, its the blue collar workers that are going to be hurting and the ripple effect on the rest of the economy is going to be worst. Giving the big 3 a bail out would not be good any other time but not now, now is not the time to take chances.
