How can I get some sleep?

I am out of ambien, I have tried to get a hold or my doc to prescribe some, but I have not heard back from him, and the pharmacy keeps telling me they are waiting to hear back from the doctor. I have tried everything, but nothing seems to work. I seriously cannot sleep without ambein. I have tried other over the counter meds, relaxation techniques, a warm gl of milk, a warm bath, everything I have heard and read about. I do however have an appointment this Friday with the doc.
