I have an 8 month old bull mastiff who is a wonderful dog. Problem is I am almost deaf and work at night. I?

really need for her to bark when somebody comes to the door or drives into the yard. I have heard her bark 2 times in 6 months. How do I get her to bark and wake me up. She stays inside.
