Is he a superficial friend or what?

The guy named Jerry has went to lunch with me and a mutual friend on campus, invited me to join group in cl, and even asked if I wanted to come to seat in with him during his cl.Because I had a break between cles. He even accepted me on facebook. However, I'm not sure what to think. Anyways one day we went to lunch along with two friends (one guy and one girl). I'm good friends with his friend, but I just met the guy Jerry in question a little over a month ago. So we are eating at the table and a fe minutes into the conversation; Jerry says I can hang out with mike and Nancy( the name of the guy and girl at the table) the other two at the table, but never mentioned my name. Me and mike are friends. Mike had to leave due to a project he needed to work on, so he left after 30 minutes. So know its me nancy and Jerry. He's talking to her very interested and both are still talking to me. So after a little over an hour she says she has to go to cl. So it ends up being me and Jerry the guy in question. Jerry was waiting for Mike's call thinking he would call and come back after finshing preping for his project. Then I started talking and he kept looking around. Then he stopped doing that. I said whats wrong, you don't want to stay. He says no I can stay I can talk to you. Then he claims if he wanted to leave he would, but isn't going to. Then after we finshed are conversation he say give me a like a bump (a friendle handshake). Jerry's never offer his phone number or even invited me anywhere outside of school. It has only been a little over a month I have known Jerry.
